1. Select the source video
2. Change the file name from m4v to mp4
3. Check the Web Optimized option.
4. Verify that MP4 is the format
5. Verify that H264 is the codec used
6. It may be easier to start with the Apple Univeral Preset, then add the Web Optimized option if the size of the video is not too large.

Adjust the setting to your liking. Sometimes solo audio is good enough.

Press the start button to start the encoding.

The next step is to retrieve the file and insert it to the web page or keynote. If using a web page, you may want to use a player that will support HTML5 and streaming.

Click on Posts to expand the Post options.

Click on Add New for a new post, or edit to open an existing post or draft.

1. Enter a Title for your post.
Remember to use keyword rich titles as this will greatly enhance your seach engine optimization

2. Choose HTML if you want to paste code, like when you want to embed a video or modify your layout directly in HTML. I recommend you first try in Visual mode, as it probably do everything you will need to do with the layout and formatting of your article. (We’ll look at the visual tab in the next step.

3. In HTML mode, paste or type in your content.

1. Save often, use the SAVE DRAFT button.
2. Preview to see what your post will look like BEFORE you publish it.
3. You can schedule you post to publish at a later date. This is quite useful when you are wrting long article or a serie of article in one sitting and you wnat to ‘spread’ the publishing over time.
4. You can make your post private, which means it will not show up in the category or recent posts listing. You can also password protect the post so that the visitor must enter a password to view the post.
5. When you are satisfied with your article or post, publish it.

Click on the Visual tab to have a WYSIWYG tool palette.
1. If you don’t see the second line of tools on the tool bar, click on the button circled in red above
2. These button are to add media to your post. See next step.

Upload /Insert:
1. Add an Image
2. Add Video
3. Add Audio
4. Add Media

Note: If the file is larger than 2 MB, you will need to use a separate FTP to upload the file into the library or edit the file/resize so it is smaller than 2 MB.

Use this option if you want to link to an image from another web site. See the Advanced Posting to WordPress for more details on doing this.

You can use this to load an image in your post from the Media Library. You could do this with an image you have already uploaded earlier.
You will find that after time, you will have built a nice Image Library on your site and you will often want to re-use some of the same images.

Adding a Video from your Computer or the Media Library is the same as adding an Image.

Sometimes it is much quicker to add content by pasting your code directly into the HTML post window. However, just remember that if you are replacing content, it is recommended you copy and paste the current post html into a text file on your computer as WordPress does NOT have an UNDO button. An error in code would ‘break’ your post.
Also, when typing HTML -remember to use US english. (color not colour, etc)
